Farm Machinery Sale Success!
We were delighted for our vendors that the machinery dispersal sale, held at Church Farm, Herstmonceux, resulted in an excellent outcome, with a virtual 100% clearance of the items on offer.
Alan Mummery, Director and Head of the Lambert & Foster Auction Team explained;
“We were presented with a small selection of good quality machinery, together with the usual items that you find around a farm when you decide to retire. I am pleased we achieved some excellent prices with competitive tenders for the more valuable machinery, but also a clearance of the more awkward items that would not have justified spending money on moving to a sale field. Whilst we love auctions, on this occasion, a tender proved to be exactly the right approach.”
