The Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020 introduce new requirements for landlords to ensure that electrical installations in let dwellings are inspected and tested every 5 years. The Government has now published guidance on the Regulations for landlords, tenants and local authorities.
