Cricket has started
Our cricket season kicked off last night with our first game against Thomson Snell & Passmore Solicitors at the Neville cricket ground in Tunbridge Wells and we were treated to a fine evening of sunshine and hospitality in one of Kent’s finest grounds.
The hosts batted first and scored an admirable 155 runs despite several wickets being taken by sharp bowler Jon Booth. The second innings saw Lambert & Foster take to the crease and even with the formidable batting partnership of James Little and Will Mathias, Lambert & Foster came up slightly short at 126 runs, thus the home side departing victorious.
We very much enjoyed the evening and are looking forward to our next match against BTF on the 22nd June. Wish us luck!
