Kent Air Ambulance Donations
Lambert & Foster are delighted to be involved in the distribution of the remaining funds of the Maidstone & District Fatstock Show Association following the final Christmas show that was held at the firm’s Maidstone Market in December 2014. The recipients on this occasion were the Kent Air Ambulance Trust who had been the nominated Charity for the Association for many years. One of the Committee Members, Ian McLean, had been a grateful recipient of the Air Ambulance Services after he was attacked by a bull on the North Kent marshes many years ago.
The cheque for £15,000 was presented by the Committee Members Les Steven, Brian Stone, Chairman Steven Goodworth and Ian McLean in a ceremony at Ian’s farm at St. Hoo, Rochester.

Receiving the cheque for the Trust was Bryan Mayfield who extended sincere thanks on behalf of all concerned with the Air Ambulance Trust. Each lifesaving mission costs around £2,500 so the donation will be put to good work, potentially saving six lives. Lambert & Foster and the Maidstone & District Fatstock Show Association are delighted to be able to be in a position of making generous donations to the two charities that offer so much to the rural community that we live in.
