Slurry Infrastructure Grant – Round 2
Defra have confirmed that they will be opening Round 2 of the Slurry Infrastructure Grant in November.
Grants of between £25,000 and £250,000 are available to improve your slurry storage to go beyond legal minimums. The grant is available to help replace, build additional, expand or cover existing slurry stores to reach the grant storage requirements.

The scheme remains competitive but Defra have confirmed they will invite ‘many more’ projects to submit a full application. What this means in practice, only time will tell, but if you were unsuccessful under Round 1 then it may be worth reapplying.
Defra have released the full guidance for the grant, which can be found here >
Please contact a member of the Rural Professional team if you would like help with an application.
