It is widely recognised that in order to maintain a rural property holding, it may be necessary to consider diversifying the business to access additional revenue streams. Lambert and Foster, in conjunction with Bloomfields, are uniquely placed to support clients on this journey and have many years of experience in this area.
Where our professional advisers can assist:
- Viability appraisal undertaken by one of our RICS Registered Valuers to appraise the most viable use for a building or site and ways to maximise value. These appraisals can often be used to support a subsequent planning application for a change of use;
- Planning advice by one of Chartered Town Planners to prepare the relevant planning application to achieve the required planning consent, including input from one of our Chartered Architects at the design stage;
- Grant advice from one of our Chartered Rural Surveyors to access funds under national or regional grant schemes, and assist with any other land management issues, such as negotiating easements, organising tenancy agreements
If you are wondering whether to diversify, and how you might do so, talk to our professionals.
